Rough nights

Well it has been a rough few nights. Addy is still adjusting to being home and sleeping at night not during the day. She is getting better though and hopefully she will continue to do better. Parker is adjusting to having a new baby at home. He has had a lot of new changes in his life in less than a week. Yep, we moved into our new home and had a new baby all with in a week. What a week we have had. But it has been good and we are all doing well. Here are some more pictures of Addy. Enjoy.

Adelaide Elizabeth Thalman

Addy has finally come home. She had to stay in the hospital an extra day. We were able to rent a room in the hospital so we could stay. She is doing really good at home, except at night. She does not like to sleep when the rest of us like to sleep. We are working on that. Parker is happy to be home too. He is the best big brother and is always there to tell me when she is crying. We are going to be getting Parker a big boy bed and he is so looking forward to it. He likes the new house and that he gets to play outside. It is nice having a school and park across the street that we can take him over to play. Tyler likes to go over to the park also. I am doing really good after the delivery. I am still a little swollen in the legs and face, but it is getting better. We are enjoying being in our new house, one week yesterday. Even though it feels a lot longer, we had a very busy week. Well I hope you all enjoy these pictures and I will try to continue to keep up with them.

She is Here!!

Well everyone, Adelaide Elizabeth Thalman has made her entrance into this world. She came on April 14th at 9:52 pm. She weighed 6lbs 12oz and was 18in. She has a lot of blond (almost white) hair. I had and infection that the doctors could not figure out what from and so with a high fever they were worried about her and decided to go a head and induce me. So Addy came two weeks early. It was actually a pretty good labor once things started moving. Addy had to spend the first night up in the NICU because she had some respiratory problems. She is better now and gets to go home tomorrow. Parker is so excited to have a new baby sister, little does he know how is life is going to change. We are all excited to have a new little one in our family. She has already had so many visitors.

In our new house

Well we are in our new house and had a good first night. I forgot to add to my last post that our house is in Salem. It is really nice to have so much extra room. It was amazing how much stuff we had in our apartment, but don't even come close to filling this place. We are doing well and are just counting down the days (16) until our next new life changing event.

July Fun

Well everyone Parker did it again. He won third place in the Freedom Festival Baby Contest. We were suppose to walk the parade but I did not want too. He is just the cutest boy. We took him to the festival at the court house in provo and got his face painted along with preslee's. He was not sure what to think of that. Well you should all be impressed I am almost done with the top of my quilt. I will take a picture when I finish. I am still walking every morning with my friends. And as some one told us we really are walking with the dead (we walk around the cemetery). Tyler is working from home now and that is a lot of fun. Although Parker perfers his dad over his mom. I like having him home more too. Well that is a little update on our family. I am trying to do better but we will see.

What a cute kid we have

WOW!!! Everyone be impressed that I am finally updating our blog. I will try and do better in the comming months. I just wanted everyone to know that Parker took third place in the baby contest for Art City Days. Him and I will be riding in the parade and his picture was in the paper. He even won with a big scratch across his eye. He tried to walk down the stairs and fell. Things are going good for us. Tyler graduated in April, we went to DC to see Allison and we bought a new car. I am trying my hand at quilting (I will let you know how it goes). Other than that our lives are pretty much the same. Well enjoy this update because it might be a while before you get your next. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
