The last 5 months

We have been so busy the last five months that i just seem to have forgotten to blog. So here is an update on all that has been going on in our lives.

Adelaide (Addy): She is getting so big. She is almost 6 months old and is such a happy little girl. Addy can roll over and likes to be on her stomach most of the time. When ever I lay her down she is on the go and exploring the world around her. We are still working on the whole sitting up thing, but she has started to eat cereal. Now if we could just get her to take a bottle.

Parker: The most adventuresome two year old boy you can find. I am just waiting for the day when we will be in the emergency room with some kind of injury. He loves going to nursery and playing with all of his friends there.
Parker loves to watch Mickey's Clubhouse. He also loves to play with his cousins Preslee and Sadie. Every morning Parker asks for his chocolate milk. I swear that it would be easier to hook a chocolate milk ivy up.

Parker is the luckiest little boy. We got a new puppy. Bear is the newest member of our family. He is a every energetic little puppy. Bear is a Yorkie Poodle mix. He is black and has Yorkie coloring on his paws. We are still working on the potty training. He is a lot of fun and adds a lot to our family.

Carla: I have really started to get into quilting that last few months. Jessica and I made Ashley a quilt for her wedding gift. It was a lot of fun and turned out so cute. I almost kept it for myself. I then started working on a block quilt with Shellie and some other women. It turned out to be a really cute quilt too. I have been staying busy with two kids and a dog. I am really enjoying our new home too. I have a calling as an Activity Days leader. It has been a lot of fun working with the girls in our ward. We went to Fish Lake with Tyler's family and had a really good time. Jeannine and I rode bikes 20 miles while we were there. I had a hard time sitting for the next two day.

Tyler: He has been staying way busy with work and his calling as Cub Master. He is still working at Xactware and is enjoying it. Tyler ran the Hobble Creek Half and lived to tell about it. He ran it with Ryan and Nate. Tyler has been working on a blackberry program with some other programmers for the Church. He has been enjoying it. We have been trying to figure out the whole lawn thing, we have grubs, but we have sprayed them and now we just need to reseed. Ugh. Tyler is always reading too.

We did go on a vacation with my family to Nauvoo and Chicago. We had a great time. We also went to fish lake with Tyler's family.

Well that is what we have been up to for the last five months. I hope it is not another five before I am back on.

Parker's new bed

I can't believe how big Parker is getting. He is growing up so fast. This weekend we got Parker a big boy bed. Parker was not to sure about it when we tried to put him to bed. He still has a little bit of a hard time going to bed, but he is getting better. So Parker is just loving being a big brother. He helps out so much with Addy. If she is crying he always comes to the rescue with a blanket and her binki. He also like to hold her and give her kisses. Parker also likes our new neighborhood. He has made some friends and likes to ride his bike out side. I like it because I don't have to worry to much about him. I still watch him, but at least I am comfortable letting him outside now. We are really enjoying our new home.

Parker's favorite movie

Well when we moved into our house we did not realize that there was no antenna for the television. So the only thing that we can do is watch movies, which gets a little old. Well Parker's favorite movie to watch is Cars. He will watch it at least twice a day, sometimes back to back. I think I have most of the movie memorized. We are working on getting some kind of television so that we will have a variety, but for now it is Cars.

Rough nights

Well it has been a rough few nights. Addy is still adjusting to being home and sleeping at night not during the day. She is getting better though and hopefully she will continue to do better. Parker is adjusting to having a new baby at home. He has had a lot of new changes in his life in less than a week. Yep, we moved into our new home and had a new baby all with in a week. What a week we have had. But it has been good and we are all doing well. Here are some more pictures of Addy. Enjoy.

Adelaide Elizabeth Thalman

Addy has finally come home. She had to stay in the hospital an extra day. We were able to rent a room in the hospital so we could stay. She is doing really good at home, except at night. She does not like to sleep when the rest of us like to sleep. We are working on that. Parker is happy to be home too. He is the best big brother and is always there to tell me when she is crying. We are going to be getting Parker a big boy bed and he is so looking forward to it. He likes the new house and that he gets to play outside. It is nice having a school and park across the street that we can take him over to play. Tyler likes to go over to the park also. I am doing really good after the delivery. I am still a little swollen in the legs and face, but it is getting better. We are enjoying being in our new house, one week yesterday. Even though it feels a lot longer, we had a very busy week. Well I hope you all enjoy these pictures and I will try to continue to keep up with them.

She is Here!!

Well everyone, Adelaide Elizabeth Thalman has made her entrance into this world. She came on April 14th at 9:52 pm. She weighed 6lbs 12oz and was 18in. She has a lot of blond (almost white) hair. I had and infection that the doctors could not figure out what from and so with a high fever they were worried about her and decided to go a head and induce me. So Addy came two weeks early. It was actually a pretty good labor once things started moving. Addy had to spend the first night up in the NICU because she had some respiratory problems. She is better now and gets to go home tomorrow. Parker is so excited to have a new baby sister, little does he know how is life is going to change. We are all excited to have a new little one in our family. She has already had so many visitors.
